The setting of this book Annabel's home and school. Annabel’s house is important because she has a hard tmie talking about her problems to her family and often hides in her room. The pool setting is important too because that’s when we first are introduced to Sophie and that turns out to be a turning for Annabel, Clarke, and Sophie. Since the setting is in places where teenagers usually are I feel like it makes the book more relatable to teens. When I read it I can see it in my head and it makes it more like something that could actually happen in real life.

The setting of this story is Annabel's home and school. Also the beginning of the story takes place at the neighborhood pool. This setting is important to the story because this is where Annabel meets Sophie. The setting is very important to the novel because it helps determine how the characters act and lets you in on why they may act that way. Also the setting at the school is important because that's where a lot of the story takes place and a lot of the juicy drama as well. the setting also helps you get an idea of what every thing and every one looks like.
