The setting of this book is a teenage girl being barried alive in a casket box type thing under the ground.cass is a teenage girl that lives with her dad and seems to have nothing going wrong for her. intill one day she got kidnapped from her room at her house and was barried alive by one of her friends brother who did not like her. i cant imagine whats going through cass mind. if i was her i would be scared and anxious to get out and be free again. cass seems to be calm and just wondering whats going to happen but at the same time she wants to get out and be free again just like any other kid who would be barried alive. cass dad is also wondering who could have done something like this to her. he doesnt think she could just go out on her on and leave and not come back, so the mystery of cass being barried alive goes on.

The main character of "What happened to Cass McBride" is Kyle, and Cass. The setting of the story takes place in a different areas depending on the point of view. From Cass point of view she is stuck down in the dirt in a crate. Cass is trying to stay calm and under control. But at first she was freaking out an straining herself trying to get out. From Kyles point of view, its at the police station, wich makes him feel uncomfortable. Especially wit police trying to interogate him an mess with his head. So its hard for him to think an all.My reaction to being down in the dirt would be terrible. Id probably end up dying. But in the police room id be cool, calm, and collected like all gemini's are. Have a good day Mrs.Wilkens, goodnight!

The setting of this book is very mysterious and misleading to me. It gives many points of view. In the beginning Kyle gave the background information of how his brother died and that it was the cause of Cass Mcbride and the letter she wrote. He then started to tell about why he did it the feelings he felt. Then up Comes Cass she is drugged out of her mind and taken from her bed room window. Her father is worried and the police are on the beginning of finding Cass. After she is taken she is brought by Kyle to this abandoned summer house and is buried in a wooden box or coffin, just like David. In the coffin she has a walkie-talkie and can communicate with kyle, also a tube leading from the coffin to the top of the ground that Kyle tortures her from by putting in dirt and closing it so she can not see the light. She is in darkness, complete darkness and no one but Kyle can hear her scream.

cass mcbride doesnt even know at first why she is in the box, under a ton of dirt, and feeling kyle walk on her at first. but then she figures it out. kyle is davids brother, and david just killed himself because of the note he found, cass wrote about him. cass is very stragetic. the whole time, she realizes that she is giving him the power, and if she takes it away from him, then she will have atleast some of it. she decides to ask him questions. but he doesnt like it, because he thinks shes acting all innocent, but in all reality, shes just trying to admit what part she had in it.

the main character in this book is a girl named cass and kyle. kyle is the one that has barried cass in a box alive and cass doesnt know why he did this to her. i think kyle is a very creepy guy that has werid thoughts about others. cass on the other hand seems to be a pain in the butt at school sometimes because she is spoiled at home, rich and pretty. ben is a cop in the book that is trying to find out what happened to cass and where she went and why. ben is also going through a bunch of things in cass room and going on interviews with her family, friends and teachers from school to see if they find anything suspicious about someone that can lead them to there case.

Kyle Kirby's behavior is something I disagree with. He acts out with rage towards Cass Mcbride, almost in a psychotic matter. He buried her alive underground in a wooden box because he blames her for his brother's suicide. I feel he acts this way because he does not know how to deal with his brother's death, and has to pin point blame on someone or something, which happens to be Cass Mcbride. A better behavioral response would be to come to the conclusion that Kyle's brother had problems within himself. Sure, Cass hurt his brother with her words. Sure, his brother leaves a note on his body referring that he cannot go on because people's words cut deep. But to pull all blame on one girl is ridiculous. She messed up but we are all human. His brother must have had more motive that driven him to his death then one teenage girl's rejection.

i agree with you. yes she should of done the right thing but it was not enough to kill himself over that and it was also wrong for Kyle to lash out on her.

In my book, Cass is kidnapped and buried alive because her kidnapper believes that his younger brother killed himself because of her rejecting him. Cass doesn't have the best values because she thinks she can only be friends with popular people and only unpopular people can be friends with unpopular people. She rejected David because he was labeled as a social outcast and couldn't be seen with him. Kyle Kirby kidnapped Cass because he thinks she was the one who made David kill himself. Kyle is wrong because he is doing illegal things as a result of his brothers death, instead of contacting the police. Both Kyle and Cass have bad morals and possibly would not have been in this mess if they thought things through and tried to be nice to people.

There are many characters in the book. The main Characters are Kyle and Cass. Kyle is a young adult that kidnaps Cass and buries her alive. To me he is a psychopath that wants revenge on his brother "killer" because Cass wrote a letter about his brother that committed suicide. There is a lot wrong with this it is cruel, harsh and unlawful. The other main character is Cass she is a preppy teenage girl with a bright future and a terrible family and family skills. She was wrong to write that note about him and should of gave him the chance, but now she has to try to escape. Its both based on morals and what they think is write and wrong. My opinion is that what they both did is wrong and is Cass hadn't of wrote the note then it wouldn't have ended up like that.

Kyle is a very crazy,phys-co,maniac,an has anger problems. The way he went about getting revenge on his brother death was pretty outrageous. I don't think burying someone alive was the best thing to do.Maybe he could've went to talk to a counselor to let his anger out. He `/-*could've got a anger ball.Kyle should've just handled the situation a little better than what he did. Kyle has issues and need help immediately, pronto, now, an asap.

i agree he has problems that he should have gotten worked out before all this happened, but what is he going to do? go tell a counselor that he wants to kill his mom, and bury cass alive? they would send him to a psych hospital. maybe that might be the help he needs, but its probably not too enjoyable to be in there with a bunch of other crazy people..

two main characters in this book are cass and Kyle. Kyle is the one that is getting revenge on cass by barring her alive becausthings he does reminds me from something id see in a movie. cass plays a role that is just like a normal teenager would play in highschool, outgoing preppy and so on. what kyle did to cass was way to far and very wrong. cass was speechless when she knew that kyle had been the one to burry her alive. so many things were running threw her head she didnt even know what to think but cass was hoping she would make it out alive befor he killed her. cass had a plan to ruin kyles life whenever he let her out. he put her in so much pain and all she wanted to do to him was kill her and put him in the same position kyle has her in.e she wrote a note about kyles brother who committed suicide. kyle plays a very crazy weird role throughout the book. the

The conflict in the book is with Kyle and Cass. It seems as though Kyle has the upper hand because he put Cass in the box; but it seems like Cass is getting the upper hand through talking and she is starting to be able to change Kyle's opinion. Cass knows how to sell things to people through what her dad taught her. Another conflict is with Cass and her dad. Cass has finally realized that her dad will not accept her unless she is perfect, and that causes an internal conflict in Cass, because she has trouble being perfect and doesn't always feel loved. She doesn't want to be rejected, but she rejects other people like David.

an external conflict in what happened to cass mcbride is obviously between cass and kyle and david. kyle wants to get back at cass for what he thinks she did to his brother, but in all reality it was his choice to commit suicide. someone might have pushed him over, but mostly his mom was at fault, and cass just pushed him over. david was being mentally and emotionally abused by his mother, when kyle left for college. david begged kyle to come back, and kyle has guilt that if he came back, he could have prevented this.
an example of an internal conflict is the anger kyle has inside of him, and feeling guilty that he could have prevented this.

to me the main conflict is davids death. davids death is the surrounding factor of everything that is happening in the book. the mom is probably the main factor of why he was going to kill himself, she was what led him to the edge but cass is who pushed him off. The words built up to much from both women. the internal conflict is with kyle that he had to do something about davids death, so until he does he will feel guilty. also the other internal conflict is with cass and herself because she has to always remember to remain keep calm and try to escape.

To me the theme of the story is to not hurt other peoples feelings. when you hurt other peoples feelings bad things can irrupt from it, like karma, death, fighting, and loss of trust or responsibility. In the book it talks about him getting revenge. In his revenge he trys to lash back out on Cass by burying her. this is very meaningful to me because ive seen people be bullied and hurt by others. i say if you dont do it you might just save a life.

the theme of this book is treat others the way you want to be treated. cass thought she could bully others and get away with it since she was very popular and well liked but that wasnt the case. karma had came back to her after she had bullied david. cass had been the one that was responsible for davids death and davids brother then wanted to get revenge on cass by burying her alive. the revenge between them never stoped they were always trying to do something to one another to make up how they felt about eachother.if cass would not have bullied her david would not have been dead kyle would not have burried cass alive and then everything wouold be normal but instead cass wasnt nice to david and when he died his brother stood up for him by burrying cass alive if cass was nice to everyone then no one would have done something like that to her

I have enjoyed this book, while not approving of what is going on. I don't think it is right to bury someone alive, but I have enjoyed the story nevertheless. I enjoy the different perspectives and how they tie together later in the story. I have read this book before, but I am enjoying it a second time. I would recommend this book to some of my friends. I have not read any of the other books that the author ,Gail Giles, but I have seen some people reading others and might try them out.

i think students should not read this book. it sends a negative thought thought the entire book. to me this book was okay in the beginning but turned out to me really slow and tedious. it was slowing down as soon as he was in the middle of reasoning why he did it. yes there are the perks of the story like it being in various points of view but also that can sometimes think its confusing. its also very slow with describing and you might have to look back in the story to remember who said what. in all i would have to say choose a different book.

To me the main conflict is how David put Cass McBride in a box and buried her alive because thats the whole thing that makesthe story what it is. The interesting part, and the problem. The internal conflict is with David an how hes dealing with his brothers death and how what he''s doing to "make hiself feel better" or revenge his brothers death. If i was in that situation of David i wouldnt burry any one alive ill just go talk to someone. I'd talk to a councelor or somebody to make me feel better.

The way it tells each chapter from different perspectives makes it easier to get know every character a little better than a regular book. This is a book for people that like mystery's.

The setting of What Happened to Cass McBride is present day. It takes place in a lot of different places, the police station, greenhouse, the McBride’s house, the Kirby’s house, and the hospital. The main characters are Cass McBride and Kyle Kirby. Cass McBride is the most popular girl at their school. Kyle Kirby is David’s older brother who gets really emotional about his brother’s death. Kyle buries Cass alive because of his brother David's suicide. David Kirby is not so popular, comes off nerdy, and commits suicide. Cass thought David was gay, and out of her league. She did not understand why he chose to ask her out even though she had a boyfriend, and prom was coming up.

In the book "What Happen to Cass Mcbride" the setting takes place in a lot of different spots. The settings are the green house, the police station, and the house of Cass Mcbride. These setting might be important because the green house is where Cass Mcbride is burried alive, the police station is where kyle tells the story of why he did what he did to Cass, and the Mcbride house is where Cass was kidnapped. The main characters of the book are Kyle, Cass, and David. In the book they describe Cass as stuck up, smart, nice, know it all who is killed a boy by her unkind words. David is the boy who hung himself and he was describe as weird, a loser, and on the bottom level of the popularity chart. Kyle is Davids older brother and he is described as good looking, laid back, and chill. He is also crazy protective because he kidnapped Cass.

"What happened to Cass McBride" takes place in the present day, where there are multiple settings. There is the home of Cass McBride and her father. They live in a nice gated community. There is also the old abandoned green house at which Cass McBride is buried. The third setting is a police station where Kyle Kirby is. The three settings are all tied together as each person tells a chapter from their point of view. Mr. McBride, Cass' father, is at their home with police trying to figure out what happened to Case after she was taken from the home at night. Meanwhile Cass is buried alive in a box and is being tortured by Kyle Kirby. After Kyle's younger brother committed suicide because he was rejected by Cass.

In "What Happened to Cass McBride" the setting could be multiple things since the books jump from character to character. The time definitely takes place in present day. Some of the point of views take place in Cass McBrides house, which is where she was kidnapped from. One of the other settings was at the Police station which is where Kyle was taken to get questioned about burying Cass. Another setting was at school, which is where David asked her on a date, and she rejected which leads to the ulitmate setting of the book which is where Cass McBride is. In a box, six feet under ground.

In the book "What Happened to Cass McBride" the setting takes place in present day. The main characters that tell their own story, have different things going on at different times and places. Cass and her father live in a nice home but the only one there now is her father because Cass has been kidnapped. Kyle Kirby is at a police station being questioned about Cass' kidnapping. And the other setting is an old , abandoned green house where Kyle buried Cass alive. In each setting each character is telling their story. The detectives had even gone to Texas to question Cass' mom. Kyle has been in the police station and he is telling the story of why he buried Cass McBride alive.

The setting of "What Happened to Cass McBride" is present day. There are several places which the story takes place like high school, police station and a greenhouse. The high school is important because this is where everything basically started with high school popularity. The greenhouse is important because this is where Cass is buried alive. Kyle Kirby buried her for revenge of his brother David's death. The police station is where everyone is being questioned to try and find Cass. The main characters are Cass who is buried, she is a smart and nice but can be mean. She lives to be homecoming queen and prom queen, all she cares about is being on top. Kyle Kirby is the guy who buried her, he buried her after the death of his brother David which he committed suicide because Cass turned him down. Kyle is a little unstable and he shows that but that is only because he cared for his brother deeply.

David committed suicide but ever since then Kyle has been very upset about it and not happy with life but is doesn’t help that Kyle has the” hots” for Cass but she doesn’t like him back . “What Happened to Cass McBride” takes place in present day. However because the point of view changes so does the setting. The location switches around from a Cass being buried in a box underground, to Kyle Kirby in the police station, to the detectives searching for Cass at her parent’s homes, her school, etc. Cass is a main character and she is described as the most popular, most beautiful girl in all of high school. She also is very stuck up and thinks of herself as better than everyone else. That’s why the second main character, Kyle, kidnapped her and put her in a box underground. She had written a nasty note to David Kirby, Kyle’s brother, who ended up killing himself. Kyle is a psycho who just wants revenge on his brother’s murder.

“What Happened to Cass McBride” takes place in present day Texas. There are multiple flashbacks in this book, and during these flashbacks Cass is underground in a box near a farm. When the chapter is not from Cass’s point of view it is either from Kyle’s, Cass’s kidnapper, or Ben’s, the detective trying to figure out what happened to Cass McBride. When the chapter is from Kyle’s point of view the setting is in an interrogation room. When the chapter is from Ben’s point of view the setting varies. During one chapter, Ben was in Louisiana questioning Cass’s mother. These settings are important because it shows how divided Cass is from her family, and how difficult it will be for her to be found. The Two main characters are Kyle and Cass. Cass is described as a very popular high school student. Before the kidnaping, Cass had many friends but also many foes. A lot of people did not like Cass because she is stuck up. Kyle is a baseball player who loved his little brother very much. After his brother’s death, Kyle began to seek revenge on Cass McBride, turning him into what resembles a psycho.

What Happened to Cass Mcbride? takes place, primarily, in 2 places. The first setting is where Cass Mcbride is, in a wooden crate buried in a greenhouse. The second setting is in a police station where the second main character is being interrogated. The settings are important because the events described in the book are all taking places at separate times, in separate places, depending on whose point of view you read from in each chapter.
The main characters in this story are Cass Mcbride and Kyle Kirby. Cass is described as headstrong and cold and other characters describe her as cruel and stuck up. Kyle Kirby is described as caring and protective of his brother, other characters describe him as quiet and stand offish.

This book takes place in a modern day small town somewhere in the U.S.A. The setting may be important because most small towns have small police forces and since there is a girl that has been stolen, it helps add to the tension. The main characters are Ben, a police who is training a new recruit with his first “amber” or missing child case, Kyle, a mentally instable college student who comes home to try and protect his little brother from the incessant pessimism of their mother, and Cass, a rich girl who is an expert at manipulation and who unintentionally caused Kyle’s brother to commit suicide by leaving a note for a friend that was at the very least degrading and allowing him to read it when he found it.

The setting of "What Happened to Cass McBride" is in present day. Since the point of view changes between three different characters, so does the setting. The settings are Kyle getting interviewed at a police station, Cass being buried in a box underground, and detectives searching for Cass at her parents houses, school, and neighborhoods. These settings are important because they all connect to each other. Cass being buried in a box by a man named Kyle who is getting interviewed at the police station while detectives are searching for Cass. The main character in this novel is Cass McBride, who is described as popular, rich, pretty, smart, but also described as stuck-up and snobby. Another main character is Kyle, the kidnapper who took Cass, he is described as good-looking, shy, stays to himself, but also as crazy, psychotic, and a terrible person who wants revenge on his brother Davids suicide. Kyle believes Cass is the reason for his brothers suicide which is why he wants to torcher her until she dies.

I believe that the setting of “What happened to Cass McBride” takes place in the present whether it be at the greenhouse where Kyle Kirby is keeping Cass McBride for ‘murdering’ his younger brother, at the police station where Kyle is being interrogated, or at the crime scene of Cass’ kidnapping. These specific scenes are so important because they all help in unraveling where Cass McBride is.
The three main characters of this novel are Kyle Kirby, Cass McBride, and Ben the police officer. Many times in this novel has Cass directly said that Kyle was a psycho for even thinking about trapping someone in a box underground because they ‘killed’ his younger brother when his brother has done the killing himself. Cass has also hinted to Kyle in indirect context that she is so much smarter than him and she’ll eventually talk her way out of the box.

There are multiple settings in the novel "What happened to Cass McBride." The on that is the most interesting is when Cass is under ground in a coffin, she is in a dark place, she has no room to move not even a place to go to the bathroom. With how her father is she thinks she will be able to talk to him and get inside his head. The setting of this is important because most is in a town or at a school, but Cass is in a coffin and is trying to keep cool and figure out exactly how and why she's here.

There are very many settings in “What Happened to Cass McBride”. Cass is trapped inside a casket underneath the ground. The box is smelly and suspiciously dark. Kyle is at the police station where he is being questioned. Ben is at Cass McBride’s house to look through the area for clues. The house has a weird sense to it.
Cass McBride is the main character who is kidnapped and put underground by the brother of David who killed himself after reading a horrific letter Cass wrote. Kyle is the brother of David and seeks to get revenge on Cass for writing that letter. Ben is a cop investigating the situation. Leatha is the mother of Cass who left a while ago. Mr. McBride has an odd personality which is why he is being questioned for the kidnapping.

There are many different settings mentioned in this book. Cass McBride, one of the main characters, is buried inside a box. The box is small, smelly, and really dark. Cass is a girl who wrote a mean note about a boy named David, who ends up killing himself. Throughout the beginning of the book, you see how strong Cass is to be able to deal with being buried alive. Kyle, the brother of David, blames David’s suicide on Cass. Kyle kidnaps her to bring revenge to Cass for writing the awful letter. This shows that Kyle is protective of his brother but is also kind of crazy. At the beginning of the story, Kyle is in the police station being questioned about Cass’s kidnapping. This makes me wonder where Cass is and if she is dead or alive.

There are several different settings in the book “What Happened to Cass McBride”. The police station, greenhouse, Cass McBride’s house, and outside underground. The setting is important because each chapter has a different setting. The main characters are Cass McBride and Kyle Kirby. Cass is described as one of the popular girls who wants everything to go her way. She is a little self-centered though thinking that she is better than everyone else. Kyle is one of the cool guys and he cares about his family. Kyle is also described as being crazy. Cass wrote a note about Kyle’s brother David because he asked her out on a date. She knew she was out of his league. David finds the note and a few days later he kills himself. Kyle wanted revenge so he buried Cass alive. He tortures Cass but she is confused why he is doing this to her.

There is several different setting in the book “What Happened to Cass McBride” since the book is based on the perspective of several different characters. The police station, greenhouse, Cass McBride’s house, and outside underground. These settings are important because each represent what point of the plot the story is based in. There are multiple settings in "What Happened to Cass McBride" since the point of view changes throughout each chapter. The settings are the police station which is where Kyle is getting interviewed, Cass McBride’s house where the detectives are searching for clues, and lastly but definitely not least underground in the box where Cass in buried. All of these settings are important because they all go together. Kyle is at the police station because he is the one who buried Cass in the box, and the detectives are at Cass's house searching for clues to help find out where she is. The two main characters are Cass McBride and Kyle Kirby. Cass is described as one of the popular girls in school. She's smart, rich, and sort of stuck up. Kyle is described as good-looking, somewhat shy and keeps to himself. But he is also described as being a little crazy. He is the one who buried Cass in the box as revenge for his brother David’s suicide which he blames on her so he wants to torture her.

There are many setting in the book “What Happened to Cass McBride”. Cass McBride’s setting is under ground in a casket, but the setting of the boy Kyle is very different. Kyle is out living life in the free world while he has trapped Cass underground. Setting is important in the book because the whole story is based around Cass McBride being buried alive. The main character of the book is Cass McBride a popular high school girl that everyone wants to either be or date. Cass has been kidnapped by Kyle who is the older brother of David who committed suicide after reading a mean letter about him that Cass had written. Kyle want to avenge the death of his brother by making Cass pay for her mistake.

The external conflict in "What happened to Cass Mcbride " is Cass is still buried alive and is still getting tortured by kyle . Kyle is still blaming Cass for her brothers death and still thinks she deserves everything he does to her . Every time kyle talks to Cass he gets more and more emotional about things and that gets him more and more angry each time . police are still trying to find Cass but it seems like time is running out . Cass is starting to get very anxious at this point and is ready to get out of there.

In the book “what happen to cass mcbride”, there is both external and internal conflict. The external conflict in the book is how kyle has kidnapped cass mcbride and buried her alive in a box without any food or water and with very little air. Another external conflict is how David had commit suicide. There is a lot of internal conflict in the book. One conflict is how david is constantly feeling low about himself because of how his mother always put him down. Another internal conflict would be with Kyle and how he is struggling with why david would kill himself and how he is mad that Cass is the reason for it. The last internal conflict is with Cass and how she feels guilty about writing the note that made david kill himself and also she needs to find a way to talk kyle out of killing her.

As the story has progressed multiple confliccts have emerged. first of all theres the obvious external confliicts the officers and Case's family are faceing as to where she has gone to. And there is the external conflict that ben is facing while he is currently in jail. but there are also some daunting internal conflicts thet are brewing with in the chacters. Case is at war with herself over the death of david, she knows that she never ment for him to read the note she rote about him but she also know that because she did he was hurt and could have killed himself because of it. Kyle is also struggeling with his internal conflicts. Kyle is greiving over his brothers death and doesn't now how to handel it. It will be interesting to see how they solve all of these conflicts.

In the book “What Happened to Cass McBride” there are many external and internal conflicts. It started out when David was feeling like he was nothing because of the way his mother treats him. When David committed suicide it causes his older brother David to become angry and he struggled a lot. Cass did not want to believe it was because of her rejection towards him, so she thought of what it could be. David kidnapped Cass and buried her alive in a box. He taped a walky-talky to her hand so he could torture her. He would refuse to give her food, water and little oxygen.

In the book "What Happened to Cass McBride", there are many internal and external conflicts. An example of an internal conflict in the book is David trying to handle the issues with his mom also being mean to him. An other one would Kyle trying to deal with his brother committing suicide. Cass McBride is also fighting an internal conflict because she needs to find a way of convincing Kyle to get her out of the box. There are many external conflicts like Kyle putting Cass in a box underground. The last external conflict in the book is David committing suicide.

In the book “What Happened to Cass McBride” There are many internal conflicts. First is that Cass feels guilty for having written the mean note to David. Another example is how David struggles to listen to his mom complaining to him all the time. He also has low self-esteem because how the kids treat him at school. Then there is Kyle who does not know how to deal with his brother’s death. An example of an external conflict would be Cass stuck in the box underground. A second example would be David actually killing himself.

In the book "What happened to Cass McBride" Cass has a lot of internal and external conflicts. Some external conflicts are that she is currently stuck in a box which someone is controlling if she can get out of it or not. Some internal conflicts are that she has to think about David and how that affected his and her life, because if she didn't send the note that was supposed to go her friend, then David wouldn't have committed suicide.

The next scene takes plave underground with a scared Cass waking up inside of a box after being drugged and place in a box then buried by Kyle. she wakes up with no idea where she is and once she realizes she is not dreaming, she starts to scream and cry while coming to the realization that she is undergorund in some sort of box. The next setting is the home of Ted McBride, Cass's father, who realizes that his daughter is missing and has called to police who are doimg everything in there power to try and find out what has happened to Cass McBride?

In “What Happened to Cass McBride”, more and more internal and external conflicts progress as the story goes on. An external conflict in the book was that after Cass wrote that note about David, Davis committed suicide. All of Kyle’s anger built up and he kidnapped Cass and buried her alive. An internal conflict in the book is how Mrs. Kirby treated her kids. Mrs. Kirby was constantly yelling and being mean to both of her kids but mostly David. Kyle is blaming Cass for the whole death of David. Cass is a very smart girl and what she is trying to do right now is talk to Kyle, and have him dig her out. All the characters are trying to solve all their problems in their own ways but they may not be doing the right thing

In the book “What happened to Cass Mcbride”, there are many external and internal conflicts as well. An example of an internal conflict would be the way David and his mom don’t get along and how David feels unwanted, but he also is trying to deal with his brother committing suicide. David always became angry and that’s how Cass ended up in a box David believes she killed her brother because she rejected him, in “revenge” David decided to put her in a box and not give her any food or water or hardly a little oxygen.

In the story " What Happened To Cass McBride," there are tons of conflicts, both internal and external. An exmple of internal conflict is that David, Kyle's younger brother, commited suicide due to being weak minded and listening what people said. A example of external conflict would be how Kyle is angry with Cass that she is the reason his brother has committed suicide and thinks she deserves to fell the way he feels. another internal conflict is that Cass is stuck in a box with little to no air and there is nothing she can do about it.

In the story “What Happened to Cass McBride” there are many internal conflicts within the characters. Kyle has so much anger bottled inside from everything that has been happening in his life and takes it all out on Cass. Before David committed suicide he felt very negatively about himself to begin with and the note from Cass is what set him off. After hearing Kyle’s story about David, Cass begins to really feel bad for David. She has a better understanding of why Kyle is doing this to her, and starts to think differently about how she should treat people.

In the novel, “What happened to Cass McBride?” there are many conflicts shown; both internal and external. One example is Kyle Kirby. After the recent death of his younger brother, David Kirby, Kyle starts to go crazy with emotions. He buries Cass McBride (the one who he thinks is responsible for his brother’s death) six feet underground to show her how she should think before she does. But after a few days of communicating with her, Kyle eventually realizes that it was his mother who really made David kill himself; causing external conflict for Kyle. Kyle then lashes out and goes home to kill his mother for what she did, but never actually succeeding. Only ending up getting arrested for attempting to kill his mother and locking up Cass McBride underground.

In the book what happen to cass mcbride, cass has an internal conflict. She wants to just go off on kyle for putting her in the box but she knows she cant. If she just goes off then she may never have a chance to be free again. So she starts thinking and comes up with a plan even though its not what she wants to do. She starts agreeing with kyle and telling him he is right and she is rude and selfish. After a while she believes what she says and it starts to really hurt her inside. Also what really makes her have an internal conflict is when she tells kyle that it’s the moms fault not hers and she goes off. The internal conflict was what if she never gets out of the box but she had to say it.

The conflict in ‘’ What Happened to Cass Mcbride was internal. The conflict involved the main character, Kyle Kirby struggling to decide who to blame in the death of his brother, David. David had committed suicide because of, what Kyle assumed had been Cass Mcbride rejecting David and writing a mean note about him. After talking to Cass about his family, he no longer knew who exactly to place the blame on and started accusing his mother of provoking David to hang himself in their front yard. The conflict will be resolved once Kyle decides who caused David the most emotional harm leading to his death.

In the novel, "What Happened to Cass McBride", there are many internal and external conflicts between many different characters. For example, Cass is locked in a box, she is panicking and doesnt know what do to with herself other than think about her life and calm herself down. She tries to find a way out of the box but fails and is slowly dying of dehydration and little to no air. This is an interanl conflict because this is happening to Cass and she cant do anything to help herself get out of the box. An example of external conflict is when Cass wrote the note about David and David using this note as a reason to commite suicide. Davids brother is angry at Cass and decides to bury Cass to get revenge for her actions. The conflicts in the novel are caused by the characters trying to help themselves and do whats best for themselves, even if its not the right answer.

There are some external conflicts in “What Happened to Cass McBride”. Cass McBride is trapped in a box underground. She does not know how she got there or why she got there. Cass knows that Kyle put her down there, and she is trying to explain that she does not deserve to be where she is. Cass did nothing wrong to be buried alive. Another external conflict is that Kyle realizes that is was not Cass’s fault that David killed himself, but his mom’s fault that David killed himself. Kyle is wanting to kill his mom because of what she had been doing to David for all his life, and torturing him piece by piece until he could not take it anymore.

In the book "What Happened to Cass McBride" there are many externals and internal conflicts. The biggest external conflict is that Cass McBride is buried alive in a box underground. This is a conflict because she is trapped and there is nothing she can do to get out. Cass McBride also has many internal conflicts. Not only is Cass trapped but she is alone with only the voice of Kyle (the boy that took her) and he is telling her everything she did to make his brother take his life. It's makes Cass really believe that she is horrible and makes her rethink major parts of her life. Being alone was also a internal conflict because she has no one to talk to so she just thinks of all the wrong she has done in her life. Being alone I believe is her biggest and scariest conflict.

There are several external and internal conflicts in "What Happened to Cass McBride" For example both Kyle and Cass had internal conflicts. An internal conflict with Kyle was that he felt guilty for not being there to protect his brother from the neglect Kyle’s brother David would receive from their mother. An internal conflict that Cass was faced with was the fact that she felt obligated to be an overachiever to get the love and compassion from her father. She was a very shy and insecure girl but she came across as a very well manner confident child. She also dwelt with the fact that her mother left and instead of leaving with her mom, she stayed with her father so she could live the life of gold.

There are a lot of conflicts in "What Happened to Cass McBride?". Cass has a very large conflict; she is trapped in a box and she is unsure why. She struggles internally and externally with this conflict. Internally, Cass if feeling extremely guilty and because she can not figure out why she has been buried underground. She also struggles externally with this, because she continues to scratch and kick at her grave, wich leads her to physical pain.
